T-Mobile Bluetooth Cell Phones
Following is a list and brief description of some Bluetooth mobile phones that will work with the T-Mobile carrier.
Motorola A630
This Bluetooth enabled phone works with both PCs and Macs. It has a QWERTY keyboard, a good speakerphone, and an integrated camera. The 65,000-color internal display is impressive. The menu system is less than intuitive. And the speakerphone doesn't turn off when you close the flip. (You'll have to decide for yourself whether that's a bug or a feature!) Priced at around $200.
Motorola V330
Features a good keyboard redesigned from previous models and an impressive 7 hours of talk time. The external display is small, though. Instant messaging, speakerphone, and world phone are some of the other features.
Motorola V600
This phone features a sharp 65,536-color display. The integrated camera can take pictures but not videos. However, it can be used for video playback. In addition to Bluetooth, the Motorola V600 offers USB connectivity. It has an impressive talk time at over 7 hours. Priced around $200.
Motorola Razr V3
Beautifully designed phone with an excellent 18-bit color display. Email support. Speakerphone. World phone. Doesn't record videos but does play them back. The volume could go higher. Only 3.9 by 2.1 by 0.6 inches. Priced under $300.
Nokia 3660
Sleek and small, about the size of a candy bar, this phone measures 2.24 x 5.1 x 1.0 inches and weighs 3.76 ounces. It has an integrated video/digital camera, an oversized display that supports 65,000 colors for MP4 video playback and offers high-speed internet access. Talk time of 5 1/2 hours is decent. Priced at under $175.
Nokia 6600
This phone features an integrated camera and video recorder. In addition to Bluetooth connectivity it offers an IR port. It's not the smallest or lightest phone on the market, weighing in at 4.4 ounces and measuring 4.3 by 2.3 by 0.9 inches. But this allows it to have a sizable LCD display. This phone offers email access, speakerphone, and world phone. The 4 hour talk time could be better. Priced at around $250.
BlackBerry 7100t
Full-featured quad-band phone. This phone features an innovative but potentially maddening semi-QWERTY keyboard. Each key shares two letters. I.e there's a QW key with an ER key and a TY key next to it. Predictive typing guesses what you're trying to spell and allows you to accept or override guesses. The email support is extensive. It comes with a speakerphone but the sound quality isn't fantastic. It also lacks expandable memory. Priced at around $250.
